The LLETE Curriculum
The LLETE (pronounced "Elite") Curriculum stands for Life and Leadership Education Through Entrepreneurship.
This curriculum will focus on the critical skills needed in the 21st century around individual and collective leadership. Particular areas of education included are federal and state mandated core subjects, as well as, skills needed to thrive, including: listening and interpersonal skills; initiating and coordinating diverse teams; building connections and partnerships; synthesizing information and visioning the future; navigating and negotiating through differences; selling ideas and persuading others; clear decision-making; and acting with personal integrity.
Included in the above-mentioned areas is a basic understanding of science and technology, as well as, a basic understanding of the global economy and global citizenship.
Most importantly, as a supplement to the core areas of study, the LLETE Curriculum will include community stakeholders as integral parts of the educational process. With the advent and expansion of technology, the student's learning will not be limited by distance or space, skill level, or learning style but will engage partners from all sectors (governmental, non-governmental, corporate, non-profit, educational, community) in an adaptive learning environment.
Through the LLETE Curriculum, every student, regardless of skill level, will achieve a sufficient level of personal and educational mastery through invaluable lessons of life and leadership through entrepreneurship.
